Andy Halpin - Managing Director

Andy is a family man, who started Payne Timber over thirteen years ago in Ottery St. Mary. His vision has taken the company from strength to strength and successfully brought Payne Timber to where it is today. It is Andy’s knowledge of the timber industry and his belief in high levels of customer service that creates the Payne Timber values.

Tim Parker - General Manager

Tim has now been with Payne Timber for over four and a half years and is an essential member of the Payne team. With over twenty years in the construction industry, Tim has worked in every aspect of the business from delivery through to sales and management. With a wide range of knowledge of many aspects of Timber, Tim is also an expert in structural timber, insulation and large construction. Cherry Jenkins - Financial Controller

Cherry has worked for Payne Timber for over 7 years, and seen the business grow from strength to strength. She has been promoted and worked her way through the ranks to now be the Financial Controller. Cherry's attention to detail and dedication to the company has made her one of our most valuable and respected staff members.

Alan Perfett - Torquay Branch Manager

Alan joined the company in 2007 from a national builders’ merchant, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience. Alan can be contacted at the Torquay branch and will be happy to help with any enquiries.

Andrew Codling – Exeter Branch Manager

Andrew has been with the company for over three years, and has recently been promoted to branch. Andrew is an integral part of the Payne team and has a vast product knowledge. He can be contacted at the Exeter depot.

Fiona Odera – Yeovil Key Account Manager

After two years away Fiona has returned as Key Account Manager to the Yeovil depot.

Martin Hayman – Yard Manager

Martin has been with the company for over three years and has recently been promoted to Yard Manager. He will be responsible for transport arrangements and ensuring the smooth receipt and distribution of goods.
